Služby Jurty vedou z ústavní či rodinné péče do běžného života - skrze výdělečnou práci a samostatném bydlení. Systém navazujících sociálních služeb vytvořilo a dále rozvíjí obecně prospěšná společnost Jurta, o.p.s. společně s Agenturou Osmý den, o.p.s.. Je to cesta od závislosti k soběstačnosti.

Závislost na péči druhých a pohodlí může vést k nesamostatnosti - naopak soběstačnost vždy posiluje a dělá člověku dobře.
